Experimenting with ballet heels
Set against the shifting greens of a wooded trail, this shoot was all about movement, balance, and the textures underfoot. Wearing a sleek black sleeveless tunic and cuffed denim, I explored the pathway in ballet heels, testing my footing on dirt, gravel, and patches of forest floor. The light filtered through the trees, catching the shine of the patent leather and highlighting each controlled step.
Raymond captured the subtle tension between the body's upright elegance and the sharp angles of the footwear. Every shot focused on posture, poise, and the interaction between form and terrain. Despite the demanding footwear, I felt grounded, supported by the quiet energy of the surroundings and Raymond’s calm precision behind the lens.
This session wasn't about distance or destination—it was about presence, focus, and discovering how far I could go while staying lifted. The forest trail became a proving ground, and I left it feeling steadier and more in tune with the physicality of movement in ballet heels.
