Fashion works for me

This third shoot gave me a chance to blend into a more everyday setting while still wearing ballet heels—something I wouldn’t have imagined feeling comfortable with at first. We picked a quiet location with clean architecture and open walkways, allowing me to move naturally and explore fashion styling in a way that felt more grounded. I went for a relaxed look: black tights, dark shorts, a cropped tee, and a mustard scarf for contrast. The heels remained bold, but the outfit softened their presence.

One of the biggest surprises was how little attention they drew. Being out in public, I expected a few double takes, but people seemed more focused on their own day. That quiet anonymity made it easier to focus on posture, balance, and expression without distraction. Raymond worked at lower angles again, using the lines of the buildings and the clear blue sky to stretch the frame and shape the overall feel of the series.

The shoot gave me more confidence in integrating ballet heels into streetwear-inspired looks. It didn’t feel like performance or costume—just a personal statement, quietly woven into the environment. That subtlety made the experience feel smoother, more sustainable, and in some ways, more honest.
