Summer is here ...

Returning to these white ballet heels felt like facing an old rival with a fresh perspective. I wore them through this urban fringe shoot, balancing along pavement edges, gravel, and rough patches of roadside terrain. The heels may look minimal and bright, but their challenge lies in the rigid structure and lack of give—a real test of core strength and composure.

I styled the session with a belted monochrome print dress and black tights, which gave a sharp contrast to the clean white of the shoes. Each step needed care, and Raymond framed the tension with low angles that emphasized the vertical stretch and fragility of movement. Even standing still felt like a win.

Despite their instability, or maybe because of it, these shoes push me into a focused headspace. There's no room for distraction—just alignment, breath, and deliberate movement. I’ve worn many ballet heels, but these keep me honest.
