Highstyle
Shiny hot pants highstyle
For this shoot, I went with something simple but sharp—shiny black hot pants, a fitted white tee, and a few leather accessories to tie the look together. The setting, a quiet public pool area on a warm day, gave us open space and clean lines to play with. It was warm enough to keep the outfit light, and the surface underfoot was smooth enough to move confidently in ballet heels.
The black patent shoes added a defined edge to the outfit, playing off the gloss of the hot pants and the structured cuffs. This look felt strong but not overdone, with the contrast of casual fabric and bold detailing giving it some attitude. Raymond kept the framing open and bright, letting the environment support the styling without overwhelming it.
It’s always a good feeling when an outfit just clicks with the location. This one felt balanced—relaxed in mood but sculptural in form. There’s something satisfying about standing at the edge of a pool in full pointe, letting the stillness around you highlight the discipline it takes to hold steady.
