Strolling around in public

Wearing ballet heels in public always brings a heightened sense of awareness and poise, and this outing with Raymond through the Rhine-side park gave me the perfect opportunity to build confidence in a relaxed, natural setting. The location’s open, grassy stretches and winding pathways helped me focus on movement and posture while still enjoying the calm of our surroundings. We kept the shoot informal and fluid, letting each frame reflect that balance of exploration and control.

I paired simple, earthy tones with the more striking silhouette of the boots—an olive-green shirt, dark plum jeans, and a floral-embroidered scarf that softened the whole look. The choice allowed me to blend gently with the landscape while still letting the ballet heels carry the visual weight. As we moved through sun and shade, Raymond captured both the technical challenge of the footwear and the ease I’m beginning to find in them.
