Last outdoor shoot 2010

This final outdoor shoot of the year was a crisp, sunlit send-off to my ballet heel sessions in nature. With temperatures dropping fast, I wrapped up warmly in a plum-colored quilted jacket and added a playful splash of color with a long, polka-dotted scarf. The layered textures—soft gloves, slim pants, and the structured boots—created a cozy, practical look while still letting the ballet heels define my posture and presence.

We moved through a quiet park, stopping by benches and railings that gave the set some graphic lines and structure. The cold made everything feel more alert—my movements slower, my awareness sharper—and the light bounced nicely off the black leather of the boots. Raymond’s framing pulled the environment closer this time, letting the low sun and turning leaves shape the mood. There’s something rewarding about pushing through the last edge of the season to finish a series.

With colder days ahead, I’m looking forward to the shift into indoor shoots where I can finally work with my new latex stockings—something that just isn’t possible out in the wind and chill. This session was a calm wrap-up, one that let me reflect a bit on how far this year's practice in ballet heels has carried me, step by careful step.
