Highstyle
Highstyle latex & wool
With winter now fully settled in, this indoor shoot gave me the chance to finally wear my new latex stockings—something I’d been saving for the colder months. Paired with a thick, oversized grey wool sweater, the look came together with a contrast I love: structured gloss against soft knit. The hallway and stairwell setting, though narrow, gave us plenty of vertical and architectural lines to work with, and Raymond used the light cleverly to pull the texture out of both materials.
The ballet heels were, as always, a challenge on polished indoor floors and tight corners, especially while shooting video. Balancing that movement while keeping the outfit’s flow intact took more patience than expected, but that effort shows in the finished frames. There's a quiet edge to this set—minimal, focused, and just a bit intimate. The balance of comfort and visual intensity made it one of my more layered shoots in feel, if not in styling.
We finished downstairs with a more grounded setup, sitting and resting into the shapes. It helped close the shoot on a calmer note, letting the tension of the latex and the structure of the heels relax a bit into the softness of the wool. It’s a style I’ll definitely revisit—comfortable enough to feel at ease in, and expressive enough to carry its own rhythm on camera.
