Highstyle
Xmas special in red latex
For my first latex-themed Christmas shoot, I wanted to play with something festive but still unmistakably personal. I borrowed Valerie Tramell’s red latex catsuit as a base—its glossy finish gave the look a bold, sculpted foundation. On top, I layered a short, fur-trimmed Santa dress and matching boot covers to keep the spirit playful and bright. Raymond and I set up the scene indoors and decorated a tree together to add that familiar holiday touch.
The shoot had a lighthearted rhythm. I posed between stringing ornaments and playfully sneaking around the tree, letting the mix of textures do most of the visual work. The latex gleamed under the warm lighting, while the crushed velvet and faux fur added softness and depth. It was a balance between costume and styling, but it felt fully grounded in the season and in my own evolving approach to ballet heel shoots.
What I loved most was how the whole setup invited movement and spontaneity. Whether standing tall in the heels or sitting on the floor beside the tree, the outfit remained cohesive and expressive. This shoot let me experiment with something a bit more theatrical, without losing the tone that keeps these sessions personal and grounded.
