Sick in bed
While I was a bit under the weather, I still wanted to create something light and cozy, so I stayed in bed with my white ballet heels and turned it into a gentle, more intimate shoot. I wore a sheer floral lingerie set that felt delicate and soft, echoing the relaxed mood I was in. Even though I wasn’t feeling at my strongest, it was important to me to stay connected through these small, creative moments.
The white heels stood out against the bedding—clean, simple, and a little playful in contrast to the floaty fabric of the outfit. I kept the poses low and natural, sitting or kneeling rather than standing. There was something sweet about just leaning into the stillness for once. Raymond had just received his new iPad, so we brought that into a few frames too—it added a little everyday charm and a nod to the season.
This shoot felt different, but in a good way—more casual, more like letting you in on a quiet day rather than a full concept. Even with the heels and the styling, it was all about comfort and presence, just as I was in that moment.
