Renovating my home on tiptoes
Moving into a new apartment gave me the perfect reason to paint some walls—and to do it entirely on my tiptoes. I’d been toying with the idea for a while, turning something practical into a personal challenge and visual experiment. So I put on my ballet heels, pulled on a pair of loose overalls, and made the most of this fresh start.
The shoot felt casual but honest—no staged glamour, just me rolling paint, stretching, and balancing through the work. The combination of sturdy boots and delicate precision in each movement added a bit of contradiction to the scene, which I liked. There was a lot of laughter between takes, especially when I realized how tricky it is to reach the top corners without wobbling too much.
In the end, it was more than just painting. It was my way of marking a beginning—messy, determined, playful. A little heart on the wall, some white paint in my hair, and one more shoot that felt mine completely.
