Valentine's day latex special
Valentine’s Day felt like the perfect reason to play with contrast, color, and texture, so I put together a bold latex-themed shoot centered around black and red. The concept came together quickly—sleek red gloves, glossy tights, a fitted latex dress, and a plush heart that softened the sharp edges. The mood was dramatic but still playful, framed with candles and scattered rose petals.
I liked the tension between softness and structure here. The materials were sculptural, almost armor-like, but the heart and candlelight grounded everything in a more intimate, emotional space. It wasn’t just about creating something striking—it was about holding space for a feeling: romantic, self-aware, and expressive.
Raymond and I shot this entirely indoors with a deep, controlled backdrop that let the reds glow and the reflections pop. The resulting images captured exactly what I had in mind: a personal nod to Valentine's Day that’s just a little bit off-center, but all the more memorable for it.
