Spring in a simple black dress

It finally felt like spring, and with that came the return of my favorite dresses. I’ve been waiting to wear this simple black piece again—it’s light, moves easily, and works beautifully with my black ballet heels and knee boots. After months of layering and bundling up, it felt freeing to slip into something so straightforward and let the season speak for itself.

We chose a quiet park path as the backdrop, where the budding leaves and soft sunlight added just the right amount of warmth to balance the starkness of my outfit. The combination of the feminine silhouette with the structured height of the boots brought a contrast I really liked—bold, but not overstated. The earrings added just enough movement to echo the breeze through the branches above.

This shoot was about ease and transition. Not everything needs a bold statement; sometimes it's enough to simply be present and feel good in what you're wearing. The shift from winter into spring always gives me energy, and I think this session caught that perfectly.
