Collared for a day
This shoot came with a new element—something subtle but impossible to ignore. The polished metal collar around my neck locked in place at the start and stayed on all day. No key, no negotiation, just a quiet presence that shaped how I moved and how I held myself. I paired it with a long, flowing floral dress and crisp white ballet heels, letting softness meet restraint in a setting that felt light and open. The path curved gently through green trees, but the collar brought an edge that never quite left my thoughts.
It wasn’t uncomfortable—at least not physically. But there’s a shift that happens when something so simple becomes non-negotiable. The dress billowed in the breeze, the shoes kept me high and poised, and the collar grounded everything with quiet tension. It was an unexpected contrast: romantic prints, summer air, and a locked gesture around the throat. All day long, I felt its weight—not heavy, just present. And honestly, I didn’t mind it.
