More of myself...
This staircase shoot focused on simplicity and form, using a minimalist indoor setting to highlight both silhouette and expression. I wore a fitted black mini dress with sheer tights and ballet heels, letting the clean lines of the look speak for themselves. The setting was stark and bright, allowing the contrast in each frame to bring out a sense of structure and quiet presence.
Working with sharp angles and soft light, I played with posture and stillness throughout the space. The large window wall created a natural backlight that helped emphasize my outline, especially in the full silhouette image. Raymond and I leaned into that starkness to create a timeless mood—almost cinematic in its restraint. The staircase rails and walls served as framing tools rather than distractions.
This shoot wasn’t about narrative or styling layers—it was about showing more of myself in a direct and unapologetic way. There’s a calm control in every shot, from the grounded stance to the seated pose on the rail. It’s me, without excess—just shape, light, and quiet confidence, captured in black and white.
