This shoot marked a clear step into more expressive, stylized territory—leaning into latex, leather, and restraint elements not just for aesthetics, but to channel something sharper and more revealing about myself. I chose a narrow basement setting, a space that gave off natural grit and contrast without relying on a pristine studio backdrop. The brick walls and low pipes brought in texture and shadows, grounding the whole set in something tactile and raw.

The styling was deliberate: a black latex bandeau and pencil skirt, paired with matching gloves, ballet heels, and metal accessories. The collar and cuffs weren’t just decorative—they framed the tone of the shoot, one that played with control and containment. I didn’t want to stage a character; I wanted to embody my own contradictions. There’s distance in the gaze, but there’s also intention in every pose. The mirrored contrasts of latex and metal gave structure to what I was quietly working through.

Part of this was about being more open. I know I’m about to go through a big move, and this series gave me the space to be a bit braver—less curated, more direct. Not everything has to be polished. Sometimes showing up in a tighter, moodier frame, styled in tension and precision, says more than any caption could.
