The new love couch

We brought the new love couch back into the studio for this set, pairing it with a deep black latex bodysuit, sheer tights, and thigh-high ballet boots. The inflatable couch adds an unexpected softness to the otherwise sharp, glossy outfit, and its sculptural curves gave me the freedom to pose comfortably while still creating strong visual contrast. The brown carpet grounded the scene, warming up the palette and giving a slightly retro tone to the otherwise modern styling.

This shoot was another step into building our new studio rhythm. Living in the atelier now means I can flow more naturally between everyday life and creative work—just a few steps separate where I rest from where I shoot. That closeness makes it easier to experiment, to do shorter, more spontaneous sessions like this one without the pressure of a full production day. It’s opened the door to more variety, and I find myself enjoying the studio space more with every set.

The outfit itself is one I’ve wanted to shoot in for a while: clean lines, strong reflection, and a feel that’s assertive but minimal. With the boots laced high and the bodysuit zipped just enough, it struck a confident balance. These kinds of combinations—tactile textures, relaxed structure, and comfort in the setup—are exactly what I hoped studio work here in Cologne would allow.
