Elegance in Fashion

To close the year, I wanted to return to something minimal, clean, and timeless. This set focuses on elegance through simplicity—just a black ruched dress, sheer tights, and my ballet heels. Raymond had given me the dress as a gift, and it felt right to build an entire shoot around it. We chose a black-and-white setup to strip things down even further and let the lines, shadows, and form carry the mood.

Working in monochrome has a different rhythm. Without color to rely on, every small posture shift and every fall of light matters more. I enjoyed how the tones sculpted the dress and brought texture to the foreground. It was one of those sets where I didn’t need to do too much—just wear the piece, trust the lighting, and let the styling speak. And of course, wearing ballet heels again brought in that signature detail without overwhelming the balance.

There’s something quietly personal about this one. It’s both a nod to fashion and a thank-you for the year that brought so many changes. Having Raymond involved and shooting something more refined together was a nice bookend. It felt like closing a chapter not with a shout but with a steady breath.
