Cozy Against the Rain

It was one of those grey, rainy days when staying in bed felt like the most reasonable plan. Eventually, I convinced myself to get up and put together something warmer than usual: an oversized white knit sweater over shiny black latex tights. The contrast worked immediately. Soft wool on top, smooth latex underneath, both doing very different things but somehow belonging together.

Ballet Heels Indoors

The Ballet Heels changed the mood of the outfit completely. Without them, it would have been an easy, comfortable rainy-day look. With them, every step became more deliberate. Even moving around the staircase required attention, because the height and extreme foot position never really allow you to switch off. The warm sweater made everything feel relaxed, while the heels made sure my posture never did.

Comfort, Just Differently

I liked the contradiction of the whole combination. The sweater felt protective and familiar, while the latex tights and Ballet Heels added structure and discipline underneath. Nothing about the day called for dressing like this, which was probably exactly why I enjoyed it. Sometimes a rainy day needs less practicality and a little more effort simply to make it interesting.
