Highstyle
New purple latex bride
Purple, Metallic, and Finally Mine
I had been waiting for this purple metallic latex catsuit and its matching corset, so there was no chance they were going to sit in the wardrobe for long. I used the set almost immediately for two different shoots, and this one became the more playful of the two: a bridal look built around glossy purple latex, a huge white skirt, and white Ballet Heels. The contrast was exactly what I wanted, somewhere between traditional bridal styling and something far less conventional.
A Bride in Ballet Heels
The white tulle changed the silhouette completely. Against the fitted metallic latex and structured corset, it added volume, softness, and movement, while the white Ballet Heels kept the lower half sharp and slightly unreal. Standing in them beneath so much fabric made the whole look feel theatrical in the best way. Every small adjustment of the skirt changed the shape of the image, while the purple surface caught the light and gave the outfit a depth that flat black latex never could.
Not Exactly Traditional
This was never going to be a classic bridal shoot. The veil, the white skirt, and the bright heels borrowed from that language, but the metallic catsuit and corset pushed it somewhere entirely different. I liked that tension. It felt elegant, strange, polished, and a little mischievous at the same time. If this was my version of a bride, then apparently she arrives in purple latex and Ballet Heels. :D
