Elegance, Reworked

This dress started out far more elegant and far more conventional. For the shoot, I decided to cut it apart and remove some of the bulk, changing the silhouette into something lighter, sharper, and much easier to combine with Ballet Heels. I liked the idea of taking a polished fashion piece and deliberately interfering with it until it felt more personal.

Less Fabric, More Line

Once the dress was shortened and simplified, the focus shifted toward posture and proportion. The black leggings created a clean continuation through the legs, while the Ballet Heels extended the silhouette even further. Without the extra volume, every stance became clearer and more graphic. The outfit still carried some of its original elegance, but now it felt less formal and more direct.

Elegance in Fashion

That contrast became the point of the shoot. Elegance does not always have to mean untouched, perfect, or traditional. Sometimes it becomes more interesting after you change the rules a little. This look began with a refined dress and ended as something leaner, stranger, and much closer to my own style. And this time, there is a new video to go with it.
