A different home shoot
A Different Kind of Home Shoot
I was in the mood to create something more personal at home, without building a large concept around it. I had a clear idea of how I wanted to move, pose, and present myself, and Raymond gave me the space to follow that instinct. The result felt less directed than usual and more like a reflection of my own mood in that moment.
Following My Own Rhythm
Instead of trying to fit into a predefined visual style, I worked with the room, the floor, and the way I naturally wanted to position my body. The Ballet Heels were still part of the look, but the atmosphere was softer and more intimate than a typical studio session. I could slow everything down, experiment with quieter poses, and let the images develop from small movements rather than from a fixed sequence.
Showing Myself Differently
What I liked most about this shoot was the freedom behind it. Raymond responded to my engagement and let the session move in the direction I wanted. That made the photographs feel more personal, because I was not simply interpreting someone else’s idea. I was deciding how I wanted to be seen. Sometimes that kind of control changes everything, even when the setting is as simple as home.
