Raw Latex

Have you ever seen latex exactly as it comes out of the box, before polishing or adding silicone oil? That was the idea behind this shoot. I wanted to leave the suit completely untreated and show the material in its natural state. Without the usual high-gloss finish, the surface looks softer and more muted, which changes the entire impression of the outfit.

A Different Feeling on the Skin

Unpolished latex also feels different. Without silicone oil between the material and the surface, everything feels smoother and quieter, with less of that slippery sensation I usually associate with freshly polished latex. The suit still fits closely, but the experience feels more direct and less coated, almost like noticing the material itself rather than the preparation around it.

Before the Shine

I like polished latex, but seeing it raw makes the construction and color much easier to appreciate. The white suit with its darker panels already has a very clean, graphic design, and leaving it untreated gives the whole look a calmer character. Sometimes the interesting part is not adding more shine, but seeing what the latex looks and feels like before anything is added at all.
