Transparent, but Still Styled
A completely transparent catsuit sounded interesting in theory, but it immediately created a practical question for the shoot: how do you photograph something that reveals almost everything without losing the styling altogether?
Finding the Right Balance
The lingerie set solved that problem. I used the bra and briefs underneath, which gave the transparent latex enough structure to work visually while still leaving the material itself as the main idea. The point was not to hide the transparency, but to control what it revealed.
More About Texture Than Color
What I liked most was how different the suit behaved compared with opaque latex. Instead of relying on strong color, the effect came from reflections, highlights, and the way the transparent material followed the body. The glossy surface was still unmistakably latex, just in a much lighter and more subtle form.
An Experiment Worth Trying
It was definitely one of those shoots where the styling mattered more than usual. Too much underneath would have defeated the purpose; too little would have made the images difficult to use. This combination found a middle ground that worked surprisingly well.
