A Bath, but Not Quite Normally

Who does not like a warm bath when feeling a little cold? The unusual part was keeping the latex on and adding Ballet Heels to the situation. Once I settled into the water, the whole outfit changed character. The glossy surface became even more reflective, the water softened everything around it, and something normally associated with movement suddenly became completely still.

When Function Stops Mattering

Ballet Heels are made to change the way I stand and move, but inside a bathtub that purpose almost disappears. They simply become part of the image, while the latex reacts to water, warmth, and the shape of the body in a completely different way. I liked that contradiction: wearing something so structured in a situation where I could simply stop balancing, stop walking, and let the water do most of the work.

Easier for Me Than for Raymond

For me, the solution was rather comfortable. I was warmer, could relax, and basically had to stay in the bathtub. Raymond had the more difficult part of the deal, trying to turn a very ordinary bathroom into a proper shoot while working around water, limited space, and me occupying most of the tub. Sometimes the person in front of the camera clearly gets the better job.
