Fashion rocks! Especially on tiptoes

My Own Version of Fashion

I love fashion, but I enjoy it most when I can bend it until it starts feeling like mine. I am not very interested in wearing something simply because it belongs to a certain style or because somebody decided it should be fashionable. I would rather take pieces I like, combine them in a way that feels slightly unexpected, and see whether the result still works once I start moving in it.

When Ballet Heels Change the Outfit

The Ballet Heels always change more than just the shoes. They alter my posture, the length of every step, the way I distribute my weight, and even the attitude of an otherwise casual outfit. With the graphic shirt and leggings, the look could have been very simple, but the heels immediately give it another layer. Suddenly something relaxed becomes more deliberate, and something playful becomes a little more elegant.

Personal Style Has No Finished Version

Maybe that is what I like about developing my own style: it never really has to be finished. Some combinations work immediately, others only make sense once I see the photographs, and occasionally something that should not work at all becomes one of my favorites. Raymond luckily enjoys these experiments too, which means I can keep asking the most useful fashion question of all: what happens if I try this?
