Editorial, but Still Mine

It was time to do another fashion shoot where latex was not the entire story, just one part of it. I worked with a designer who lent me a few pieces, and that immediately changed the direction. Instead of building the look around Ballet Heels, I used a different pair of boots and let the styling become more editorial, more graphic, and a little less expected.

Black and White Changes Everything

Removing the color made me notice the materials much more. The latex leggings became almost like polished black lines, while the structured top and the darker fabric pieces added texture without competing for attention. Even the boots worked differently in black and white. They became part of the silhouette instead of just an accessory.

Sometimes a Different Shoe Changes the Whole Language

I like that kind of experiment because it interrupts habits. Ballet Heels create one posture, one kind of tension, one very specific visual language. These boots created another. The result felt less like repeating a familiar formula and more like testing how far my style can stretch before it becomes something new.
