It was time for another ballet bonus shoot, and this time I wanted something lighter and softer than my usual training clothes. I chose my mint green summer dress and paired it with pointe shoes, which immediately gave the whole set a more delicate, almost floating feeling.

A Chair Changes the Movement

I also added a chair to the studio, not just as something to sit on, but as another object to move around, lean against, stretch over, and use to create different lines. Ballet is so much about space and balance that even something as simple as a chair can completely change the way I think about a pose.

Less About Perfection, More About Flow

What I liked most was that the shoot did not feel like a strict exercise session. The dress moved with me, the pointe shoes kept the ballet language clear, and the chair gave me new possibilities without making the setup complicated. Sometimes a small change is enough to make familiar movements feel fresh again.
