This time I wanted to push the latex idea much further and go almost completely into one material, one surface, one visual language. Full black latex, waist corset, gloves, boots, and even a gas mask turned the outfit into something much more complete than just clothing. It felt less like dressing up and more like building a character around shape, shine, and anonymity.

The Mirror Made Everything Harder

Working with a mirror sounded simple at first, but it changed the whole shoot. Suddenly every pose had two sides, every angle could reveal something unexpected, and even small movements mattered because the reflection created a second composition at the same time. With the gas mask added, the whole thing became even more unusual and slightly abstract, almost like photographing two versions of the same person interacting with each other.

Creativity Usually Comes With Complications

That was probably why Raymond enjoyed the setup so much. The mirror made the shoot more difficult, but also much more interesting. Instead of simply posing in front of the camera, I had to think about where my reflection was, how the latex caught the light, and what the image looked like from more than one direction at once. Sometimes the most difficult ideas are exactly the ones that make a shoot feel new again.
