Creepy me Halloween
Welcome to the Dark Side
Happy Halloween! This time I wanted to meet a version of myself that feels a little less familiar. Wrapped in white bandages, surrounded by long black strips, and standing in white Ballet Heels, I suddenly looked like someone who had stepped out of a strange dream rather than a normal shoot.
Clothing Without Being Clothing
What I liked most was that the outfit was barely an outfit at all. The bandages became fabric, shape, and costume at the same time, while the dark hanging material created this almost living space around me. It made the whole scene feel less like fashion and more like a character appearing for a moment between something theatrical and something slightly unsettling.
Sometimes the Other Version Is More Fun
Halloween is probably the perfect excuse to become someone you normally would not be. A little darker, a little stranger, a little more dramatic, and definitely with more color around the mouth than usual. Maybe the “other me” is not someone completely different anyway. Maybe she is just the version that only comes out when the light gets colder, and the rules get looser.
