Botanic garden walk around
Borrowing Summer from November
I wanted to get outside again and create something that felt light, warm, and completely out of season. So I took a floral summer dress, my white Ballet Heels, and went back to the botanical garden. The temperature clearly said November, but visually I wanted to pretend otherwise for a while.
Cold Air, Empty Paths
The advantage of choosing a cold day was obvious very quickly: almost nobody was there. In summer, this place can become crowded and every path turns into a waiting game. In November, I suddenly had space to walk, stop, turn, and enjoy the location without constantly working around strangers.
Sometimes the Mood Matters More Than the Weather
I liked that little contradiction. Everything around me said autumn, but the dress and the shoot were trying to hold on to summer. Maybe that is enough sometimes. You cannot change the season, but you can decide what kind of mood you bring into it.
