Ballet Between Two Worlds

For this bonus shoot, I wanted to combine two things that normally belong to different parts of my wardrobe: a fashion body and shiny latex leggings. With pointe shoes added, the result became a mix of ballet, fashion, and something slightly more graphic than a traditional dance look.

Familiar Movements, Different Surface

Latex changes the way the body reads in photographs. The reflections make every line more visible, while the pointe shoes keep the movement connected to ballet. That contrast was exactly what I wanted here: something technically familiar, but visually a little unusual.

Enjoy Them While They Last

I know these extra ballet shoots have become a small tradition, but I also know I will not keep doing them forever. Maybe that makes them more interesting. Not everything has to continue endlessly to have value. Sometimes knowing that something is temporary makes you pay more attention while it is still there.
