Ballet Meets Highstyle

For this bonus shoot, I wanted to mix ballet with something less traditional again. A white latex shirt together with patterned leggings gave me exactly that balance between dancewear and fashion. It was comfortable enough to move in, but still different enough to make the shoot feel like more than just another ballet practice session.

Movement Before the Photos

I spent some time dancing in front of the big mirror first, simply getting into the movement and seeing how the outfit behaved. That always helps me loosen up before the actual photos begin. The mirror gives instant feedback, the pointe shoes bring back the familiar discipline, and the latex adds a completely different surface to something I know so well.

Different Materials, One Look

I still like combining latex with normal fabrics because it keeps the material from becoming the entire story. Here, the latex top, the leggings, and the pointe shoes all bring something different into the image. For me, that contrast is exactly what makes Highstyle interesting: not wearing one material from head to toe, but making different worlds work together.
