The Balance Makes the Look

When people ask me how latex can work as actual lifestyle fashion, I usually come back to one thing: balance. If everything is equally tight, the outfit can become too uniform. I prefer mixing different silhouettes so the latex becomes part of the styling instead of the entire statement.

Tight Against Wide

For this look, I used fitted leggings and a close shirt as the base, then added the wider jacket on top. The contrast gives the outfit more movement and makes the proportions much more interesting. The jacket softens the strict lines of the latex without hiding them, while the Ballet Heels pull the whole silhouette back into something unmistakably mine.

Latex Does Not Need to Be All or Nothing

That is probably the point I keep returning to with Highstyle. Latex becomes much easier to wear, photograph, and understand when it is treated like any other material. Mix it, layer it, interrupt it, give it space. The result feels less like a costume and more like fashion that simply happens to use latex.
