Too Late to Disappear

Walking through a public park in full latex sounded like a good idea as long as the park stayed empty. That was basically my condition. For a few minutes it worked perfectly: trees, water, enough space, Ballet Heels, and nobody around to make me think too much about what I was wearing.

Then People Arrived

Of course that did not last. More people entered shortly after us, and by then I was already standing there in a full black latex catsuit on my tiptoes. Running away would probably have looked even stranger, so I just kept going while pretending that this was somehow completely normal.

Being Seen Changes Everything

What fascinated me was how different the same outfit felt once there were other people around. In front of the camera, it was simply fashion. In public it suddenly became a statement, even though I had not planned one. Maybe confidence is sometimes nothing more than staying where you are when your first instinct tells you to disappear.
