Fashion
Leather & Fur fashionista
Less Editorial, More Instinct
This started with a very simple combination: leather leggings, the big leather chair, a soft fur jacket, and nothing underneath. On paper, it could easily have turned into a very controlled fashion editorial, but I did not really feel like standing still and repeating the usual poses this time.
Letting the Chair Change the Shoot
The chair gave me much more to work with than I expected. Sitting properly lasted about five minutes before I started climbing onto it, leaning across it, changing levels, and using the shape of the furniture almost like another prop. That made the whole series much less formal and a lot more physical.
Fashion Is Better When You Forget the Pose
Sometimes the strongest pictures happen after you stop trying to look fashionable. The outfit already carries enough attitude on its own, so I could concentrate on movement and simply enjoy the shoot. A little less perfection, a little more personality, and suddenly the editorial starts feeling alive.
