Collaboration with Kostümkunst
Wearing a Piece of Pop History
This collaboration gave me the chance to wear something quite different from my usual wardrobe. The piece was based on a design originally created for Madonna, which obviously made the whole shoot feel a little more special from the beginning. What I wore was not the original garment, but a carefully made replica by Kostümkunst.
More Than Just a Costume
What I liked most was how strong the piece's shape is. The corset, the structured frame around the hips, the shirt, tie, and wide trousers create a silhouette that feels theatrical without losing its fashion character. It changes the way you stand and pose almost automatically, which made the shoot much more interesting.
A Collaboration Worth Remembering
I enjoy collaborations most when they give me access to pieces I would probably never choose or even find on my own. This one definitely did that. Wearing something connected to such an iconic stage aesthetic was fun, a little surreal, and a very good excuse to push the styling somewhere completely different.
