An Entire Day in Latex

Recently I decided to do something I normally would not: spend an entire day dressed in latex. I was in the right mood for it, felt adventurous, and wanted to see how it would feel when the outfit stopped being something reserved for a shoot and simply became what I was wearing.

More Than a Visual Experiment

What I liked was how strongly the outfit changed the impression of even ordinary moments. The glossy surface, the tight fit, and the contrast of black and blue made everything feel more deliberate. Even standing around or sitting somewhere suddenly looked like part of a concept.

Sometimes You Just Have to Try It

I still would not call latex my normal everyday clothing, but that was exactly why the experiment was interesting. Wearing it for hours made me notice the difference between liking something visually and actually living in it. For one day, though, it worked surprisingly well. Sometimes stepping a little outside your usual habits is enough to make an ordinary day feel completely different.
