Casual Enough to Almost Feel Normal

With these Ballet Heels, I wanted to see how far I could push them away from the usual dramatic styling. So I combined them with something much more casual: printed leggings, a simple shirt, a cap, and the longboard. Suddenly the shoes looked less like part of a costume and more like a strange extension of an everyday outfit.

Somewhere Between Streetwear and Me

I could actually imagine wearing something like this when visiting friends or going to university, at least visually. The outfit itself is relaxed enough, and the shoes are the only element that completely changes the proportions and the way I move.

Almost Daily Style

That is what I liked about this shoot. It was not trying to turn Ballet Heels into something elegant or theatrical. It simply dropped them into a casual look and let the contradiction do the work. Probably not the most practical daily outfit ever invented, but definitely one of the more believable ones.
