An Edgier Kind of Day

Some days I simply do not feel like dressing elegantly or softly. I want something with more attitude, something a little rougher and less polished. This combination felt exactly right for that mood.

Mixing Latex With Something More Casual

The shiny black latex underneath gives the outfit a strong base, but I like that the green top breaks it up and makes everything feel less obvious. Add the straps around my thigh, and suddenly the whole thing becomes much more alternative without turning into a full costume.

These Boots Make the Difference

And then there are the boots. I really like them because they are heavy enough to feel solid, but the balance is still good enough to move around and have fun in them. They completely change the posture compared with Ballet Heels, and that was part of the appeal here.

Sometimes I do not want to look delicate on my tiptoes. Sometimes I just want to look like I might kick the door open instead.
