Not spring yet ;)

Still Waiting for Spring

It still takes a while for spring to arrive and for temperatures to finally make outdoor shoots a little easier again. Until then, I have to work with layers, warmer fabrics, and outfits that do not make me regret leaving the studio after five minutes.

Winter Highstyle

I actually like this kind of look quite a lot. The long grey coat keeps everything clean and elegant, while the Ballet Heels completely change the silhouette underneath. It feels much more like everyday fashion pushed in a slightly unusual direction than a costume created only for a shoot.

That is usually the kind of styling I enjoy most.

Fashion Before the Weather Improves

Of course, I am still looking forward to lighter dresses, shorter outfits, and warmer afternoons outside. But colder weather has its own advantage because it forces me to think differently about combinations.

A coat, fitted trousers, and Ballet Heels may be much more practical than some of my summer ideas, but they still have enough character to make the outfit feel special.

So until spring finally decides to show up, I can live with this version of Highstyle.
