Highstyle
Music Highstyle fashion shoot
Music Made It Easier… Sort Of
I had the idea to listen to music during the outdoor shoot because I thought it would help me move more naturally and stop overthinking every pose. Raymond liked the idea and handed me a pair of headphones.
What I did not expect was the volume. :D
Finding a Rhythm
Once the music started, the shoot actually became much more relaxed. Instead of constantly waiting for direction, I could move with the rhythm, shift my weight, play with the cable, and let the poses happen a little more naturally.
The outfit helped with that too. A loose shirt over shiny latex leggings is exactly the kind of Highstyle combination I like because it feels casual first and unusual second.
Slightly Too Immersive
The headphones did their job a little too well, though. After a while, I felt like I had been living inside my own soundtrack and came out of the shoot slightly deaf. Not exactly the glamorous side of fashion photography. :D
Still, I liked the result. Sometimes adding one simple thing changes the whole energy of a shoot, and this time it was just music, latex, Ballet Heels, and me trying not to destroy my hearing.
