Dressing Around the Collar

With the steel collar already around my neck, I stood in front of the closet for a while trying to decide what would work with it without making the outfit feel too complicated. In the end, I chose a simple black cropped turtleneck and shiny latex leggings.

That combination already felt right to me. Clean, tight, and very easy to wear.

Then Raymond Made It Difficult

Of course, Raymond had another idea.

He brought out these shoes inspired by the kind of extreme designs Lady Gaga has worn, and suddenly the whole outfit changed. They look almost impossible at first, and wearing them is definitely not as straightforward as normal high heels.

The balance is completely different.

A Different Kind of Challenge

That was what made the shoot interesting. The clothes were simple; the collar added a hard detail around my neck; and the shoes turned the whole thing into a balancing act.

Not Ballet Heels this time, but still very much about posture, control, and learning how to move in something that does not behave like an ordinary shoe.

I liked the contrast. Simple outfit, difficult footwear. That was enough.
