Winter Highstyle look

Latex for Winter

I wanted to see how latex could work as actual winter clothing rather than just being something for the studio. My first idea was to combine it with wool, because the contrast between the soft knitted texture and the smooth black latex already makes the outfit look much warmer.

More Than Just the Look

Underneath, I wore the PROTACT ONE suit, which made the shoot a useful test as well. It kept me surprisingly warm, which made the whole combination feel much more practical than I expected.

That is what interests me most about it. Latex alone is not necessarily the answer for cold weather, but as one layer in a complete outfit it can work very differently.

Winter Highstyle

The wool sweater and hat make the outfit feel casual and seasonal, while the latex keeps the Highstyle part visible. And of course I added my Ballet Heels, because apparently normal winter shoes would have been far too reasonable. :D
