A Catsuit as a Second Skin

I’ve worn this combination before, and I brought it back for a simple reason: it works. A plain catsuit already creates a strong silhouette, but once I start layering latex over latex, it becomes something completely different.

For me, the interesting part is treating the catsuit almost like skin. It becomes the base layer, not the finished outfit. Adding latex lingerie over it suddenly creates structure, contrast, and those small graphic details that make the whole look feel designed instead of simply dressed.

Layering Without Adding Fabric

Normally, layering means adding more colors, textures, or volume. Here, almost everything is still latex, yet the outfit feels much more complex. The black-and-white contrast breaks up the surface, the additional pieces shape the body differently, and the whole thing becomes a little more architectural.

That is what I like about this kind of styling. You can start with something incredibly simple and still push it further without changing the outfit's basic language.

Sometimes “More” Really Is More

And yes, technically I am wearing lingerie over a catsuit, which sounds slightly ridiculous if you describe it too literally. But fashion has never been improved by overexplaining it. :)

What matters is the result. The catsuit becomes my “skin,” the lingerie becomes the actual outfit, and together with the collar and Ballet Heels, the whole look suddenly feels complete again. Sometimes the best way to reinvent something familiar is not to replace it, but simply to add one more layer.
