Cooling Down the Latex Way

Being completely rubberized in this colorful combination was already warm enough, and the weather didn’t exactly help. So at some point the shower stopped being a prop and became the most logical solution of the day.

Standing on tiptoes in Ballet Heels while getting soaked probably isn’t the most normal way to cool down, but normal was never really the point here.

When the Shoot Gets a Little Out of Control

Once the water started, keeping everything perfectly controlled became impossible anyway. The latex looked even better wet, the colors became stronger, the reflections changed, and suddenly the whole set felt much more alive than planned.

Raymond also got caught in the splash zone, which I found considerably funnier than he probably did at first. Luckily, the camera was weather-resistant, so nobody had to choose between saving the equipment and continuing the shoot.

Sometimes the Best Part Isn’t Planned

That is probably why I still like this series so much. It started as another latex shoot and slowly turned into us simply having fun with the situation. Sometimes you plan every detail. Sometimes you get too warm, turn on the shower, soak the photographer, and accidentally make the shoot better.

I’m fine with both approaches.
