Leather fashion with ballet wedges
I Knew Those Locks Would Become a Problem
Back in leather, I added the Ballet Wedges again, this time with their lockable zippers. I can walk in them surprisingly well, almost like in my Ballet Heels, so wearing them is not really the problem.
The "problem" is Raymond. One day he is going to lose the keys. I can already feel it. Hahahaha
Comfortable Enough, Until You Want Out
That is the strange thing about these shoes. Once they are on, I can move around in them quite naturally. The wedge shape feels different from ballet heels, but I still stay in that lifted, tiptoe-like posture I know so well. As long as I want to wear them, everything is fine.
The moment I want them off, however, the tiny little detail called “locked zipper” suddenly becomes very important.
Leather Works for Me
I also really like the rest of this outfit. Leather has this more relaxed, wearable character for me, especially combined with a simple blouse and jacket. It feels less theatrical than latex and more like something I could actually build into normal fashion.
Then the Ballet Wedges ruin the word “normal” again, obviously. Still, I like the balance. Practical enough to move in, unusual enough to feel special, and just risky enough that I should probably start hiding a spare key somewhere before Raymond proves my prediction right.
