A Combination I Didn’t Expect

This dress wasn’t something I had planned around the Ballet Wedges at all, but once I tried the combination, it immediately made sense. The deep blue denim works surprisingly well with the glossy black shoes, and the simple black collar ties everything together without making the outfit feel too styled. I like that balance. It still looks like real fashion, not like an outfit built only around the shoes.

More of This, Please

That is actually where I want future fashion shoots to go. More dresses with a strong silhouette, more pieces that shape the body nicely, and more outfits that would already work on their own before adding Ballet Heels or Ballet Wedges.

The shoes should change the attitude of the look, not become the entire look.

Feminine, Fitted, and Still Me

I think figure-fitting dresses could be especially interesting for that. They create a cleaner line, work beautifully with the posture the shoes give me, and make the contrast between normal fashion and something much more unusual even stronger.

So yes, more dresses in the future. Preferably the kind where I put them on, look in the mirror, and immediately think: Okay, this one needs Ballet Heels.
