A while ago, I used to do black-and-white shoots more often, and for this one I wanted to return to that look, but not by simply removing the color afterward. I approached the whole shoot a little differently, with stronger contrast, harsher light, and poses that felt less polished and more spontaneous. The location already had enough texture, metal, water, rails, and hard sunlight, so black and white felt like the right language for it.

Sneakers Were the Only Sensible Choice

To make the creative part work, I needed freedom of movement. Climbing, sitting on awkward surfaces, changing position quickly, and using the environment properly would have been unnecessarily difficult in Ballet Heels.

So yes, sneakers. Sometimes the shoes have to step aside for the idea. And I actually like what that does to the catsuit. Without the Ballet Heels, the whole look becomes sportier, more direct, almost more documentary.

Different Doesn’t Mean Less

I think that's worth doing from time to time. Not every Ballet-Heels.com shoot has to repeat the same visual formula. Sometimes taking away the obvious element makes you look at everything else again.

The latex, the movement, the light, the location, the expression. And apparently my feet were very happy to participate in this creative experiment too.
