Serena Frost & me (like daughter & mother)

A New Face, and a First Challenge

I invited Serena Frost, the new latex model from latexperiment, to join me for a shoot, and I think this was a good way for her to get a feel for what these sessions can be like. She did her best to keep up with me, which is not always as easy as it looks when Ballet Heels, latex, posing, balance, and timing all start happening at once. Experience makes a huge difference here, and I’m sure she’ll improve quickly once she gets more used to the whole process.

Keeping It Simple This Time

We deliberately kept this one a little easier for her. No video, no pressure to perform for the camera continuously, just enough time to focus on posing, movement, and getting comfortable with the outfit and the shoes.

That was the right decision. A photo gives you a second to reset. Video absolutely does not.

Next Time Gets More Interesting

I actually like seeing somebody at the beginning of that learning curve because progress becomes visible very quickly. The first shoot is about finding confidence. The next one is usually where things start to loosen up and become more natural.

So Serena got the friendly version this time. Next time? Well… there might be a camera recording everything.
