This Is Actually Much Closer to Me

For everyone who has asked what I normally wear when I’m not dressed for a bigger shoot, this is probably one of the most honest answers. Simple black leggings, comfortable white boots, an oversized cardigan, something easy underneath, and of course the collar. Nothing complicated, nothing that needs twenty minutes of preparation, just something I can actually spend a day in.

Comfort Does Not Mean Boring

I like clothes that feel relaxed but still have some shape and contrast. The black leggings keep the silhouette clean, the white cardigan softens everything, and the boots pull the whole outfit together without making it look too serious. That is probably much closer to my everyday taste than some people expect.

And Then My Feet Had Another Idea

Of course, apparently I still can’t wear perfectly normal boots without eventually wondering:

Can I get onto my tiptoes in these?

So yes, even this very ordinary outfit somehow ended up with me balancing around again. I suppose some habits are harder to switch off than others.
